With a constant independent five-percent Quetzalcoatlus award chance, fourteen Clara loops give about a 51.23% chance of at least one award. A ninety-percent target requires forty-five loops in that model: 900 Pufferfish, 3,150 Triassic Rocks and 450,000 Coins for fresh loops.

The random event is Clara’s award

The October 12 flying-pets guide reports a five-percent chance for the Quetzalcoatlus egg when Clara gives the quest reward. It names five possible flying species. Once you receive a species-named egg, that name identifies the pet that will hatch. This calculator applies its probability to the reward event, not to a second random species roll during incubation.

For N attempts at probability p, the chance of no success is (1 − p) raised to N. The chance of at least one is one minus that quantity. To reach a target chance below one hundred percent, the calculator rounds up log(1 − target) divided by log(1 − p). It keeps p at the reported 0.05 and assumes trials are independent with the same probability. That is a mathematical scenario, not a claim that every hidden game system follows those assumptions.

Translate attempts into a concrete workload

Fourteen fresh loops require 280 Pufferfish, 980 rocks and 140,000 Coins. The result also shows the chance of obtaining none, about 48.77%. Twenty is the mean number of independent attempts until a first success at five percent; it is not a promise to get Quetzalcoatlus by the twentieth award. A player can succeed earlier or remain unsuccessful later.

Every fresh Clara loop uses twenty Pufferfish, seventy Triassic Rocks and 10,000 Coins. The workload shown here multiplies those full counts by attempts. If you are partway through a registered loop, use the separate Sky Egg planner to subtract its applicable progress. Bait, gathering time and travel are not supplied as fixed prices or durations, so they are not invented in this probability output.

The guide does not provide the other four species’ exact award probabilities, a pity counter or the effect of Luck on this award. It would therefore be misleading to divide the remaining ninety-five percent equally among them. Keep the chance result and the known work/cash totals separate when choosing a goal. After an award, follow the named egg’s hatching, ranch and feeding steps before using the flying partner.
